Ram Joubin — Lawyer, Founder
As a life-long social justice advocate with roots as a writer and philosophy, Ram has brought a different level of service and accountability to the community as a lawyer for the past ten years. He has appeared in the capacity of lawyer and policy advocate on the CBC, BBC, CTV, Global News, Globe & Mail and more.
Ram often deals with high profile cases, such as the on-going case against the state in Iran for its shooting of flight PS752, but he believes in the importance of serving his local community and the average person faced with a legal problem. Ram proved this in his first year of practice, winning the Dugald Christie Award in 2016 for most people advised for free.
Ram has appeared at the Federal Court of Canada, Supreme Court of BC, and Provincial Courts all over BC, from Penticton, to Haida Gwaii, to Greater Vancouver, Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast.
You can find Ram appreciating nature with his son, spouse, and dog on off hours, as well as reading, playing, and continuing his activism.
